"Business trip to Nijmegen"
I really loved this hotel. Set in wood like surrounding I felt far enough away from the crowds bu close enough for access to the town. Friendly, excellent service from all staff I will definitely stay here again when on business or leisure trips. The food was top class.

"Organizing training?"
Training rooms with a view to the beautiful surroundings. Spacious in the new building or smaller but classy in the old villa. Co-operative staff. Lunch buffet style for all tastes. Trainees love their spacious bed rooms.

"Good, not very good ... watch out for room 222 !"
We stayed in this hotel before and rated it as "very good" and that's why we came back. Alas, our room 222 was below the usual standard. It was cold when we arrived at 10 pm. It has "shine-through" curtains whereas the hall opposite to our window was in full lights all night so we did not sleep so well. The bathroom has a little doorstep that was practically invisible, result: we stumbled several times and my husband injured his hand doing so. The towels were not as soft as we were used to: no fabric softener in the budget any more? We were glad the breakfast was as sumptuous and delicious as usual and the staff still very friendly, otherwise our rating would not have been above "average". It's a pity the management has not contacted us (we left this comment at the desk and were promised they would do so), otherwise this review would not have been written ...

"Great hotel with big suite rooms"
We staid here just for a night while visiting the nearby Groesbeek winefest. The hotel is excellent, modern with large suites. We had a room on the ground floor with an outside terras facing first a big lawn and then the forrest. This is the wine area of the Netherlands (yes, we have one too!). The hotel is located in this leasurly undulating landscape with vineyards, and lots of history from roman digs to the canadian war cemetry. Tip; rent a bike, they have normal bikes and electrical bikes, which with the hills might be better. Do book the bike ahead of time, because when we arrived they were not available. Restaurant: the restaurant has a large outside roof terrace, with a great view. Good food and a good selection of wine and beers. Excellent breakfast, with lots of different types of bread, juice, coffee, bacon, eggs and everything else you would expect. And it came included in the price of our room

"Very nice surroundings and hotel"
The hotel is situated in very nice calm surroundings with hiking and bike trails. Very nice and large rooms where we slept very well. The breakfast was lovely with a nice outdoor terrace and everything you would want for breakfast

Museumpark Orientalis shows you the colourful worlds of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The museum comprises a 30-hectare wooded area with three different villages and a desert. In the villages you are introduced to the cultures behind and roots of these three monotheistic religions. Orientalis has a large indoor museum in which authentic activities and crafts are to be seen regularly during opening times. Refer to the calendar of activities for what’s on offer, for children too.

The National Liberation Museum is located southeast of Nijmegen and Arnhem. The museum covers the run-up to the war, the occupation and day of liberation, as well as the reconstruction of the Netherlands and of Europe. The liberation of the Netherlands is brought to life through smells, interactive presentations, dioramas, models, original films and audio fragments. The museum illustrates the real meaning of democracy, freedom and human rights to people young and old.
